Ralph Staub

Ralph Staub has more than 40 years of experience in the AV Industry. Ralph started his career as an audio engineer for local bands, and by the age of 18 was managing a recording studio in northern California. Moving to the East Coast in 1994, Ralph joined Entertainment Sound Productions as an Audio Engineer, before starting his own AV company and working as a contractor for Voice of America.

For the past 14 years, Ralph has served as Production Manager with Freeman AV. While managing hundreds of illustrious events throughout the United States including conventions for the National Association of Home Builders, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Navy League Sea and Air Space, and the EMS Today Jems Conference and Expos, Ralph has had the opportunity to see the good, the bad and the ugly in AV Company staffing and labor….one of the reasons he jumped at the opportunity to join Capital Stage Techs.

“AV Training is much needed in our industry. Supporting stage hands and stage techs through workshops, and educating the next generation is what this company is all about, and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

In his spare time, Ralph can be found on the talent side of the microphone singing Karaoke and doing his famous Joe Cocker imitation.
